Immunizations will need to be obtained before your child enters the 7th grade.
These immunizations are required to attend Texas public schools.
Immunization notice is for:
Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis)
Varicella (Chicken Pox) 2nd dose
MCV (Meningococcal)
We ask for your cooperation in getting these obtained in order for your child to attend school. Your child will not be able to attend class if these immunization requirements (Tex. Ed. Code 2.09) are not met. Immunizations may be obtained from your physician or through the Texas Department of Health. You can contact the Texas Department of Health at 936-348-3593.
If your child has had the Varicella Virus (Chicken Pox) he/she does not need to be vaccinated, however there is a form to be filled out with the date of illness. These forms may be obtained from the school nurse.
